Walking Tacos!

A group of volunteers from the Love the Harrisonville Square organized, cooked and sold over 250 delicious walking tacos as a fundraiser during The Log Cabin Festival, October 4th and 5th!

The festival, held within the Love the Harrisonville Square footprint, was a great way to meet many members of the community and let them know about the work we are doing while serving them a festival favorite food.

The booth space was generously donated by The Law Office of April McLaughlin. Many others donated items, lent items or volunteered their time to serve multiple shifts during the two day festivities.

Promotion Committee Chair, Amanda Stites said, “Our volunteers were outstanding! We received a number of compliments on our food and service. Most importantly we represented the organization well, worked hard and had a lot of fun doing it all!”

The team looks forward to selling Walking Tacos at next year’s festival. We thank everyone who helped make this a such a success!
