This Place Matters MO!

Missouri Main Street Connection is making plans to celebrate National Preservation Month in May 2019. Many of communities, including Harrisonville, will have special events to highlight historic sites in their area and are planning other celebrations to show their enthusiasm for preservation.

Harrisonville will be joining in the month-long, Missouri wide celebration with a Historic Walking Tour of the Square. The tour will be led by David Atkinson, local historian and co-author of Images of America: Harrisonville. There is no cost to join the tour group, but donations to Love the Harrisonville Square are welcomed and appreciated. A “historically fun” photo booth will also be held to raise funds for future projects.
