On Saturday, February 22, 2020 Love the Harrisonville Square held their first Appreciation & Awards Dinner. The event, which had a 1920’s theme, was held at The Beck Event Space and catered by Thyme for Seasoning Catering & Events.

Guests were welcomed by current President, Happy Welch, and an invocation given by Dale Franklin before dinner was served. Following dinner, attendees watched the Year in Review video.

Awards were presented to the volunteer of the year for the Design, Economic Vitality, Organization & Promotions committees.

Awards were also presented to the Square District Business of the Year and Partner of the Year.

Love the Harrisonville Square President, Happy Welch also recognized other members of the organization for their contributions. Those honored included Amanda Stites, David & Kathy Waddle, Sandy & Dale Franklin, Obie Carl, Don Peters and Jerian Cesonis.

The incoming Board of Directors was also introduced. New members will include David Waddle, Kelly Filer, and Rhonda Woolsey. Scott Beck will be President beginning in April and Amanda Stites will serve as President Elect.

Following the awards presentation attendees had fun with the 1920’s themed photo area.
